Reliability
Developing a range of platesetters by refining a successful, field-proven design assures product reliability. All the mechanical, electrical and optical systems have been designed to operate dependably, guaranteeing consistency plate after plate, day after day.

Quality
Very precise on-press registration comes as a standard with all Luxel T-series platesetters – repeatability is better than ±5 microns*. This accuracy is available at all resolutions and plate sizes; uniform exposure across plates is inherent in the design of the platesetters, all of which ensures the same high quality, whatever the job. Flexible productivity The entry-level Luxel T-6300CTP delivers 11 B2 plates per hour at 2400 dpi, while the T-6300CTP S can output 21 plates per hour, a complete set in under 12 minutes. For even greater flexibility, the new design allows on-site upgrades, from the standard T-6300CTP to the more productive T-6300CTP S specification. An auto-balancing drum in both models enables imaging of different plate sizes without manual adjustment.

Three stages of automation
In manual configuration, the Luxel T-6300 provides streamlined plate production with intuitive plate management. With the addition of an on-line plate processor (if required) and a single or multiple cassette auto-loader – available even for entry-level systems– it becomes a highly efficient system for automated platemaking. Further increased efficiency and precision can be achieved with an optional automatic internal punch.

Superior screening technologies
To enhance the image quality delivered by the Luxel T-6300, Fujifilm offers two advanced screening technologies: Co-Res AM screening and TAFFETA FM screening. Fujifilm Co-Res Screening enables printing at high screen rulings using standard platesetter output resolutions, while Fujifilm TAFFETA second-generation FM screening offers all the benefits of FM while reducing the unevenness and graininess of other FM technologies.

Processless platemaking
In addition to yielding exceptional image quality with Fujifilm Brillia HD LH-PJE, HD LH-PLE and LH-PCE thermal plates, the Luxel T-6300 is fully compatible with Brillia HD PRO-T, offering genuinely processless working with no quality or productivity compromise.

The Luxel T-9X00 Series gives you a wide choice of productivity options, from 8 B1 plates per hour at 2400 dpi with the T-9300CTP N, to an industry-leading 67 plates an hour with the T-9800CTP HD-X, which uses 1024-channel Grating Light Valve (GLV) technology, for customers who require maximum quality and productivity. An auto-balancing drum in all models enables imaging of different plate sizes without the need for manual adjustment. For even greater flexibility, the new design allows a wide variety of on-site performance upgrades: T-9300CTP N to T-9300CTP NS; T-9500CTP N to T9500CTP NS; T-9500CTP N to T-9500 NS and T-9800 HD-E to T-9800 HD-S. This enables you to choose the model with the best options to support your business’s growth for today and tomorrow.

The Luxel T9800CTP HD-E and HD-S offers high-resolution 4,000 dpi support as an option. This option is perfect for everything from high-resolution art printing to the accurate reproduction of small text sizes like those required for bond and other certificate printing. Plates suitable for high-quality lenticular printing, including plates for the output of 3D images, can also be produced.

Remote Monitor
The Luxel T-9X00 Series’ Remote monitor facility makes it possible to view the platesetter’s status and history at any time and from anywhere on your network. It also allows operators to be kept informed via e-mail.

Large, multi-format output from four to 48-page
The PlateRite Ultima Series can output large-format plates up to 2,900 x 1,350mm in size. It can also output plates as small as 650 x 550mm, putting these machines in a class of their own – true multi-format platesetters. Advanced 1,024-channel imaging head GLV™ (Grating Light Valve) technology has been used to develop a revolutionary multi-channel imaging head that enables remarkably highspeed and high-quality exposure. This cutting-edge imaging head features up to 1,024 individual laser beams that expose plates in wide swathes, enabling the PlateRite Ultima series to deliver unbeatable throughput without sacrificing quality.

Automatic inline plate punching
With optional inline punching, plates are punched immediately before being mounted on the drum. Inline punching provides greater registration accuracy than either manual or off-line punching. It also helps eliminate human error and supports faster press make-ready. Up to ten punch blocks can be mounted in the platesetter and then selected during output according to the plate size and press type required for the job.

Reliable automatic plate loading
Automation is a key element in the handling of large format plates in order to maximise the efficiency of the CTP production line. The PlateRite Ultima Series units can be incorporated into an automated production line with the addition of any of a variety of plate handling equipment options. High quality, productive plate making The PlateRite Ultima devices achieve optimal productivity when used in conjunction with Fujifilm’s range of Brillia thermal CTP plates. The high sensitivity of the plates allows the platesetter to image at its fastest speed.

Dual plate imaging
Not only can the advanced PlateRite Ultima large-format platesetters load a single large-size plate onto the drum, they can also load pairs of smaller plates together. Imaging pairs of plates increases productivity as plates need to be loaded and unloaded fewer times. The PlateRite Ultima 36000 and 24000 ZX and Z series models also feature twin imaging heads that enable simultaneous imaging of two plates, for even higher production.
